The ALCOFAST electroebulliometer is an automatic instrument designed and built to determine the alcohol concentration in wines, musts and their derivatives.
The supporting structure of the instrument is made of laminate treated with epoxy paint; the front part is in polished stainless steel.
The boiling chamber is made of Duran glass, so as to allow the user to inspect the conditions of the sample being examined at any time. The work process is completely automatic: once the START is activated, the instrument automatically brings the sample to the boil and directly detects the value of the ALCOHOL CONTENT BY VOLUME (V/V%) of the sample being examined on the liquid crystal display.
Compared to manual ebulliometer systems, ALCOFAST is equipped with a microprocessor that can automatically compensate for barometric pressure and is also able to store and display the boiling temperature only when it is constant for “x” time.
At the end of the analysis, the instrument automatically deactivates the heating resistance of the boiler and stops the cooling water in the refrigeration unit. Loading and unloading of the sample are manual.
For use, the instrument only needs cooling water and a power outlet.
